What is Akashi?

Akashi is a non-custodial yield aggregator for stablecoins on Solana. It lets you:

  • See the rates — every integrated protocol in one table, each with what it pays, how much is in it, and an A–E risk grade.
  • Open a position — Akashi builds the transaction, your wallet signs it, the funds go to the protocol. You can also open it at the protocol directly: the portfolio reads your wallet, not Akashi’s records, so it shows up either way.
  • Watch it — the portfolio follows the balance and what it earned.
  • Hear about trouble — optional Telegram alerts for liquidation risk, a stablecoin off its peg, a draining pool, a collapsing rate and more.

No fee on top.

More about Akashi

What do the A–E risk grades mean?

Every opportunity gets a score from 0 to 100, where lower is safer, and that score falls into a letter:

  • A0–22
  • B23–35
  • C36–50
  • D51–70
  • E71–100

The score weighs three things:

  • The protocol holding your deposit — how long it has run, whether it has been exploited before, and who is able to change its code.
  • The stablecoin itself — what backs it, how deeply it trades, and how far it has slipped from $1 in the past six months.
  • The position — plain lending is not a leveraged loop, and a loop can be liquidated.

If something goes wrong right now — the stablecoin loses its peg, or the pool loses most of its money in a day — the grade reacts immediately instead of waiting for the slower model to catch up.

How are opportunities ranked?

The table opens with the highest current APY first. Click a column header to sort by something else:

  • 30-day APY — when a steady rate matters more than today’s number.
  • TVL — how much money is already in the pool.
  • Risk — the A–E grade.

Akashi keeps these in separate columns instead of blending them into one score, so you decide which one matters. Your sorting and filters stay in the page address, so the view you are looking at is the view you can share.

Where does the data come from?
  • Rates and pool sizes — read straight from each protocol, either its own API or its accounts on Solana, and refreshed every 15 minutes.
  • Risk inputs — stablecoin prices and depeg alerts from named outside feeds.

The data page lists every source, how often it updates, and what happens when one of them goes down.

Review data sources and freshness

Does Akashi hold my deposit?

No. Akashi builds the transaction and you review and sign it in your wallet. The deposit goes to the protocol you chose, and that protocol holds it. Akashi never takes custody and never sees your keys.

Is an A grade safe?

No grade is a promise. An A means the safer end of what Akashi lists today, judged by its own published model. None of this goes away at any grade:

  • A smart contract can be exploited.
  • A stablecoin can lose its peg.
  • A rate can fall as fast as it rose.
Why do current APY and 30-day APY differ?

Current APY is what the opportunity pays right now. The 30-day figure averages the past month, so one unusual week barely moves it. A wide gap between the two usually means the rate has been jumping around lately, and the current number may not hold.

How fresh are the numbers?

Rates and pool sizes refresh every 15 minutes, and the table prints the time of the last successful read as “Updated …” under the results. So a routine rate change is at most about 15 minutes old. Live risk incidents are pushed through faster than that.
