Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Akashi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Akashi website, application, programmatic interfaces, Telegram bot, and related services (the “Interface”). Because the Interface is non-custodial, we do not collect or store your private keys, seed phrases, or funds, and we never sign transactions on your behalf.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information we process when you access or use the Interface. It does not apply to third-party services, protocols, wallets, or websites that we do not control, each of which has its own privacy practices. “Personal Data” means information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to you; it does not include aggregated or de-identified data.
2. Personal data we collect
- Wallet and on-chain data. When you connect a wallet, we process your public wallet address to display balances, positions, and to build unsigned transactions. Wallet addresses and transactions are public information recorded on the Solana blockchain, which we do not control and cannot alter or delete.
- Automatically collected data. We and our providers may collect device and usage data such as IP address, approximate region, browser and device type, pages visited, referring source, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use a limited set of cookies and local storage for core functionality and aggregate analytics (see Section 5).
- Telegram bot data. If you use our Telegram copilot, we process your Telegram user identifier, the wallet address you link, and your messages with the bot in order to respond to your requests and build transactions you choose to sign.
3. How we use personal data
We use the information above to:
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Interface;
- Display your portfolio, balances, and yield data;
- Build the unsigned transactions and workflows you request;
- Analyze aggregate usage and performance;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where required by law (for example, under the GDPR), we process Personal Data on the basis of: your consent; the performance of a contract with you (providing the Interface); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Interface; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights) to understand aggregate usage and performance. This may include pages visited, approximate region, browser type, and referring source, and is not used to identify you personally. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may degrade functionality.
6. How we share personal data
We do not sell your Personal Data. We may share information:
- With service providers that operate the Interface on our behalf (for example, hosting, RPC and data providers, and analytics), under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- To comply with law, legal process, or lawful government requests;
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Akashi;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
7. Blockchain transactions and immutability
Public blockchains are distributed ledgers designed to immutably record transactions. Any wallet address and transaction you broadcast is public, permanent, and outside our control — we cannot change, erase, or anonymize on-chain data.
8. Data retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law, after which we delete or de-identify it. Aggregate analytics may be retained in de-identified form. On-chain data persists on the blockchain independently of us.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect Personal Data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The transmission of information via the internet is at your own risk.
10. International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your Personal Data. Under the GDPR these may include the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Under the CCPA/CPRA these may include the rights to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — and we do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your request.
12. Third-party links
The Interface may link to third-party sites, protocols, and services that we do not control and that are governed by their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or data handling.
13. Children
The Interface is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their Personal Data.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Interface after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
